A message to Battle Ground voters from Adrian Cortes, Battle Ground city councilmember-elect
Thank you; Let me restate that with enthusiasm; thank you! It has been a long road filled with challenges and successes however, in the end the voters of the city of Battle Ground Washington spoke loudly and voted for me to be elected to the Battle Ground city council; I am truly grateful. Now it is time to place the campaign season behind us and move forward to provide strong and intelligent governance to our city. The challenges that face our community have not changed and neither has my commitment to tackle them head on; jobs/economic development, transportation infrastructure maintenance/improvement and protecting our public safety departments. I ask everyone who voted for me to not turn your heads now that the election is over, I will call on you for your wisdom on how to proceed with issues that will affect our city. For those of you who did not vote for me, I welcome your input as well and I extend my hand to you as we move Battle Ground forward in a fiscally responsible manner. The challenges before us are great but together, as a community, we will do great things! God Bless our city, state and God bless the United States of America!
